Why PVD plating

Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) is an environmentally friendly vacuum coating process that actually permeates and bonds with the base metal. This provides a brilliant finish and an extremely tough, durable, long-lasting coating which is also suitable for sensitive skin. 

The PVD coating allows Bask jewelry to be waterproof, tarnish, sweat, and regular wear resistant compared to standard gold plating. The PVD coating will stay longer, even when scratched, while a gold-plated product when scratched will reveal the base material. Over time plated jewelry will naturally fade.(Gold plated jewelry or the PVD jewelry…it isn’t clear which)

Jewelry Care

To extend the life of the plating, try to avoid scratching the surface of Bask jewelry and keep it away from perfumes and lotions. To clean Bask jewelry, gently wash with water and soap, and pat dry with a soft cotton cloth.
